A 60-year-old high-rise complex in a densely built-up housing estate in Hilden is becoming a showcase project for the energy transition: Since last fall, three highly efficient Dimplex heat pumps have been replacing the old oil heating system and supplying the 32 residential units with climate-friendly heat.
