In an impressive project, the Rübesam family, together with their heating company ‘Schnapp-Heizung’, transformed their historic half-timbered house into an energy-efficient home with a Dimplex LA TBS heat pump. This modernisation in the city centre represents a perfect symbiosis of preserving historical architecture and using state-of-the-art heating technology, significantly reducing energy consumption and helping to protect the environment. A 60-year-old high-rise complex in a densely built-up housing estate in Hilden is becoming a showcase project for the energy transition: Since last fall, three highly efficient Dimplex heat pumps have been replacing the old oil heating system and supplying the 32 residential units with climate-friendly heat. With this individually planned system solution, Dimplex proves that regenerative heating with air-to-water heat pumps works reliably even in a high-rise residential building with regular radiators instead of underfloor heating and without façade insulation.
